Well speaking from the Writer of a publication called 'Simple As That' I think you are right on the money! I understand more now why you enjoy my work. 'Simplicity is at the heart of all things complex.' I wrote that some time ago now. I value wisdom, goodness, integrity and above all intelligent thought. I value your input and contribution to my work, and thanks for making us creatives look good 😄

Mike, I really enjoyed this. Simple yet deeply philosophical. I like the way the areas come together for you; shows a lot of reading and reflection over the years. Couldn’t agree more about your approach to creativity.

I’m reminded of a quote: “all good ideas are simple.” I appreciate the clarity and simplicity, and therefore the power of this. Thank you Mike.

A very interesting capture for sure, Mike! Thank you for sharing and reminding. If we can get the young to even think about what qualities we need, that’d be success!;) Intuitively, we know what we need to do and how we need to be, but it’s the limiting mind that gets in our way of realizing our own true potential. Of course, this is the lens of the Vedanta philosophy. For our 25th wedding anniversary this February, an epiphany hit in Morocco among the mountain Amazigh people of the Atlas Mountains, that simplicity is indeed the essence of beauty in life, and meaningful people and experiences are the essence of life itself! I write about it at https://anuprabhala.substack.com/p/finding-simplicity-again-on-my-25th. Every year, when I go back to visit my family in native India, I am reminded to keep it simple, and Thoreau’s words, “Simplify, simplify’ stare at me from my fridge:) But of course, the mind complicates! Hence these reminders are helpful.

First time I've heard of the concept of "pure motives" although it seems to be intuitive. Thank you for this insightful article. I will let it guide me to better communication and action. It's been hard lately to interact. This may help.
