Here are the 13 best songs I’ve found we can sing with the children in our lives who are about age 4 to 11.
Most of these capture the sense of magic and possibility we have as children, but the Kate Bush song conveys that shy, vulnerable feeling when we want to get away from everyone and hide — perhaps with one close friend. (Jack Johnson’s song is probably a song for adults that brings back the feelings of childhood.)
Let me know in the comments if there are any others you love.
Add every song you love to your playlist — if it’s not yet on it — and enjoy!
